Celebrating bringing my sewing machine back upstairs, now that my dressmaking one has been serviced and restored to normal duty downstairs. I've been playing a little with the Sizzix Texture rolls. This piece, I stamped with the IO Vines in green, which didn't show much, so I stamped again in black. Then I embossed it, and stitched it to the background piece. That had been in my stash for a while - it was some paste paper which had been stamped, sponged and had gold stars embossed on it. It never worked for its original purpose (I think, with the bamboo and the fact that the foreground was originally green, I probably intended to add a panda. I sponged the foreground blue to match the rest, and used a gold pen on the embossed stars to emphasise them more. I cut a border from the texture roll to make the card the full width, as I'd had to trim the panel down a little bad. The flower and foliage were cut from watercolour paper and coloured with Twinkling H2Os - the flower centre has a little Stickles and some gold microbeads. I added a strip of green to ground the walking ladybird, as it looked odd without it.

Wonderful textural card! There's something new to see everywhere you look! You should add MSP50 to the title/key words- this month the challenge is gold.
